Rouen size

    I have had this pair of Rouen's for quite sometime. My hen just died and feeling bad, I got another hen for him. Well she is twice the size! I read that Rouen's come in two different sizes but still sound large. I'm sure he is not a call duck cause he is bigger than that.Any thoughts

    Not sure. I have 2 Rouens, one is bigger than the other, but its really not a big diff. Calls I am not sure about. @Going Quackers will likely know what to tell you.

    I was looking more on the site and by the way it looks , I have a mallard, and now a Rouen hen.Can they still have duckling?if its possible?

    Domestic ducks can have ducklings. And since Rouens are mallard descendants, they should be able to reproduce, as well.

    Ya, should have taken pics. I'm not the best on computers .Are the small mallards common as the Rouen's. They seem to be happy , just look funny walking together!!!!
