I am fairly new to chickens & Internet! I have 4 comet laying hens. Plus we have a guinea bird who just showed up 3 weeks ago. Don't know how to sex it, named it Charlie. We also have 3 horses 1 dog, 3 housecats, & various barn cats. My family had chickens when I was little but thanks to a mean rooster spent most of my life afraid of birds. Got over my fear a few years ago & now I like chickens again!. I live in Illinois.
