I have 4 Nankin bantams (tiny things) in quarantine (just got them 2 weeks ago). They've been doing well, but yesterday my daughter noticed one straining while pooping, and today we found a long white worm (maybe 2 inches) in her poop. So... what is the standard treatment? Are they too young for valbazen? I have some for my goats. Also have cydexin sheep drench. No idea if any of these work in chickens, nor how much to give tiny bantam chicks (Hatched April 7, about 13 weeks old)

One more thing... just in case they had mites (their parents looked like they had some), they got a dose of pour on ivermectin when we first got them, 2 weeks ago)

    Thanks in advance for advice!

Well nifty. Just found a site that says pour on ivomec will treat internal worms such as roundworms also. Guess that was a dead worm that came out today.
