When I spotted game pullet Rowan on top of the duck house, looking over the fence at the dog pen, I knew what she was thinking.
    "Don't do it."
    "Why not?"
    "Rowan, do not do it."
    *jump*
    "RoWAN!"
The dogs are going nuts and I just know they've eaten her as I throw the eggs I have in hand on the ground and burst through the gate. I'm expecting blood and feathers everywhere, but no. There isn't a dog anywhere and Rowan is looking at me like "What? What do you want?"
    Then I see it.
Every dog I have is piled in the far corner of the yard cowering and every time this three pound chicken moves they all yelp like they've been shot. Yes, my thirty pound "guard dogs" are terrified of a pullet.

Whew, lucky Rowan! That could have been ugly. Funny the dogs were all scared.

Ha, I would like to see a photo of the pullet who strikes fear in the heart of dogs.

Here she is, the horrid bock bock thing that flew over the fence. The boys are still traumatized.

Lol. I hope the dogs always remember to respect the chicken.

Too funny! She looks very deceiving ;)

I have a diminutive hen who once chased a neighbor across her own yard...... *sigh*
