My little 3 week old east indie has rubbed the colour off the top of his beak, probably from going frantic at the brooder bars when I leave the room. its also got like a blood spot in it too

....will the colour return when it heals? I've put him in a plastic sided box now to stop it happening ...

I think the color will return when it heals. Does he have any duckling brooder mates?

unfortunatly not, he was the only one to make it

but we are hoping to go and collect some more Bei ducklings this weekend (6 hour drive)
