I made blueberry muffins. I took a bite of one and realized that once again I used baking soda instead of baking powder. Everytime I use this recipe I use baking soda. I never mix up soda and powder on any other recipe, but for some reason I make these wrong everytime. Now I have 2 dozen (baked) muffins that I don't know how to salvage. Should I toss these or can I do something to them to get rid of the taste.

I don't know that they can be fixed. Around here, my flops go to the chickens.

Oh yeah he did the same and nearly poisoned us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll throw them in the compost. I mostly just feel bad about wasting a pint of blueberries. My recipe now has BAKING POWDER written large and in red across the top. Maybe next time I won't screw it up.

Aww so sorry this happened, you just have to pay more attention to the recipe...set out each item first..then re check.. then proceed. The mail all the finished goodies tome...this is the most important step in any good recipe..send the results! Or at least share!
