run away chook

i was wondering, why do my little chicks about 7 weeks old keep running away from me when i try to hold them? is this normal?

it depends....have u had them at a time when they wouldnt run, and now they are running?. If they have always ran, than nothing is wrong and sometimes chickens are just not the people type.
