runner duckling color?!! completely puzzled!

    hey guys i have posted before about my runner duckling color. but she is getting in green bright feathers. WHATS UP WITH THAT?! lol
    everyone was saying blue but now i dont know!

    btw the green feather is on both wings in the same spot and i can see more coming through. he also has a lot of black "spots" on his blue feathering under belly.

    The British Waterfowl Standards refer to a disqualification for fawn runners - green wing bars. So that apparently shows up, at least in fawn runners. This could be a blue/fawn cross, perhaps.

    thats ok about the DQ she wont be shown. what do you mean green bar? lol like the green is going to be a square on the wing?

    It is a Blue. What you are seeing is normal. Some Blues will show signs of the wing speculum (what you have pictured and are describing as well) and some won't. Some amount of black spotting is also normal for a Blue.

    At certain times (depending on how the wing is held), a wing bar does look like a bar, like a wide line across part of the wing. You've seen 'em! Just maybe didn't notice them.

    Trust me- It's Blue, it is not Grey (Mallard). They look night and day different.
