Before we joined byc my wife opal and myself got some great ideas from the coops and runs from you wonderful people, thank you all very very much. This complete project was around 300 dollars with a salvaged window, lots of salvaged wood and the main frame from one by six rough poplar. Thanks again

I have to say I really liked this post.

Man stepped up and called his wife by name and didn't show no
shame at all. That took some courage.

Welcome to the club, Robert and Opal.

* Only knew one lady named Opal. My aunt's mother. She was -and is-
the sweetest lady you ever met.

Welcome to BYC! Lovely coop and super kudos for making it out of salvaged materials! That is exactly the kind of stuff that my hubby and me are into.

Welcome!

Great job on the coop!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Thanks, it's been fun and the girls are a blast all with different personalities, meal worms can cause them to fly up on shoulders if I don't hand them out quick enough. More picks of the black star ladies soon. Thanks again
