    Hi,
This may be a newbie question, but is chicken poo supposed to be runny? I have 6 week old chicks and have noticed that their poo is runny. I tried feeding them yogurt but all they did was wipe their beaks in the pine bedding.

We have two of them in a wire cage and three of them in the rubbermaid brooder while trying to finish the tractor. (Every time we go out to work on the chicken tractor it rains)

I'm feeding them starter/grower and they have plenty of starter grit and water, too. I gave them a few cherrios yesterday, but it was runny before that. They've only been out in the grass twice and that was a couple of weeks ago.

They are eating and active. The two BOs in the wire cage like to come out and explore the garage right in front of their home, but run back in if I stand up or laugh loud.

    Thanks for any information,
    Karen

Could be I guess, but mine are still in the garage and it's not that hot in there, maybe 90.
