Have a 1 year old Orpington with runny diarrhea, I noticed some on her egg yesterday and her whole rear area is covered this morning. Eating normally, no signs on any of the other 5 hens. They free range during the day and are put up at night. Never had a worm problem, and don't see anything in feces.
Thanks so much.

Clean her vent area, trim the feathers that catch the droppings, and put some Probios powder in her water, unless your feed already contains probiotics. You can only see large round worms in the droppings, and chickens get other kinds. A vet could run a fecal test for worms and coccidia if you collect a few fresh droppings. Valbazen 1/2 ml orally and then repeated in 10 days for each chicken is an excellent wormer. Fenbendazole (Safeguard, Panacur) is also good at 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days in a row.
