I purchased four baby chicks four days ago from the local country store, three Araucanas and one silver laced wyandotte. The three Araucanas have been eating and drinking regularly and have grown considerably since I took them home. The problem is my little silver laced Wyandotte does not want to eat on her own and only drinks very sparingly. I have tried "force feeding" by making a mash from the chick starter and have given her regular water and sugar water via a spoon which she is more willing to accept. I am growing very concerned though as she does not appear to have grown at all! And she is also not as active as the others. Am I just being paranoid or is my worrying justified?
