Any ideas as to why this little guy is so small? He is around 5 months old and is significantly smaller than the rest of the flock. He eats and drinks well but doesn't get bigger. Fortunately, he doesn't get picked on by the rest. I've performed O&Ps from his stool and didn't see any parasites. [IMG]

Wow. I'd say you're looking at a severe failure to thrive or possibly even some kind of genetic dwarfism issue. In any case, I doubt there's anything to be done for him. Many birds like this don't survive, some do.

    Thank you @QueenMisha !
He's still acting like a normal chicken so I guess I'll see how long he'll make it.

May have to be isolated in time if he starts getting picked on. Assuming that's his brother behind him he sure is a runt. Just going by his stance and body shape in this pic. I'd say he has some bone deformities. Definitely some structural problems going on there.

Yes, that's his brother behind him. So far he's pretty much ignored by the others but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Sorry to hear. Must have had internal deformities as well.
