Runt or Different breed?

    I ordered 20 cornishX a couple of weeks ago (out here we just call them meat kings) and one of them is quite a bit smaller than the others. im starting to wonder if its a different breed or if its just a runt. we called it nugget cus its so small

    Looks like a different breed to me . Mine were pretty uneven in size , but the three small ones have the same build as the bigger ones .

    same here,I had one that was smaller but had the same wide spread legs and big breast,,and huge appetite

    looks like a white leghorn pullet

    figured i should mention, ive already clipped its wings once cus it flew out of the brooder a few times, and its wings are already grown back to the point where its touching the tail agai.
    If I hadn't cut them they would be twice that length

    okay, def a leghorn then lol. they are very flighty. She'll give you an egg a day!

    its comb would of been turning pink by now and growing if it was a roo.

    Yeah, she looks exactly like my chick that everyone voted was a leghorn - which was sold to me as an Ameraucana - but I digress. They look identical.

    Boy leghorns got hormones like mad and often get red combs at just a week or two old!
