What an awesome group this is! So much good info. @NorthFLChick we have 4 breeds. Red Sussex, Buff Cochin Banties, Speckled Cochins, and another breed I can't remember (I call them cute girls ) :) We were new to this so we just looked at a picture at IFA. We wanted friendly (which the red ones exceeded all expectations!) And I loovee the booted bantams! So we have a variety. Got a dozen eggs a day almost! Had to share with everyone we could think of. We are having so much fun and we just adore our chickens! Who knew?
