Sad tonight, missing hen

    ...she was taken by something early this afternoon. My husband ran outside because the chickens (only four total) were hollering, and he went out to investigate. The remaining three were already back at the coop by the time he made it out there. He looked all around and found nothing. Later, when mowing, he did find a pile of feathers, but no Penny. The culprit was sneaky and swift. Hubby had just walked inside to use the restroom after working in the new coop for a couple of hours. I collected her last egg when I got home from work.
