I used to ride years ago (haven't ridden in a long time). I rode saddle seat in an area where hunt seat and western pleasure was very popular. I got lots of crazy looks, but always did well at the local shows. Sorry I'm not more up on the scene or else I would chat with you about it.

I rode a really nice saddlebred once .. it actually was very nice and I would consider it again.

I've got an Arabian now that is a GD of Huckleberry bey .. you would think I would ride her saddle seat .. but I don't .. she's got a big enough trot .. maybe becuase I don't have the gear ..

Anyway .. I really like the look .. do you have pics??

You might find more luck over at Backyardherds.com, our sister site. There is a whole section there devoted to horses. [IMG]

I used to! Very comfortable, but "Shhhhhhh!" Don't tell people who only ride american stock seat!

I no longer have a horse, or access to one or time to search out access, but yes, I wish I could.
