Safe temperature to ship adult chickens USPS

    Hi Folks,

    As I am in the "learning stages" of the chicken world, please advise!

    What is the safest weather temperatures to ship adult chickens USPS across country?

    If I remember right the PO isn't supposed to accept them for shipment if the temp on either end of their trip is above 85...which is still pretty hot to me.
