safety of chicks on yard treated for grubs?

Hi, I hope this is the right area to ask this. We have three week old chicks in brooder. My husband used Bayer grub control on our yard last month.

He did not apply it in the run area thank heavens.
He threw away the bag so I can't read about pets although he said the bag said ok after 24 hours for pets.
Does anyone know if that will make my chicks sick? I wanted to go organic for my chicks but hubby forgot. If our yard is not safe this year due to this application of chemical..does anyone know if by next year the yard will be safe?
If one of my chicks ate a grub now would this harm them?

I am not really sure on the answer to your question but I ma sure that if you google the type of treatment that you used on your yard that you could find a MSDS sheet or something similar that may be able to help answer your questions.
