I have a chicken waterer that is rusting. I read on here about using naval jelly to seal it. Is this safe for my chickens to drink from ???

I would not use it, it is for cleaning metal, it is a caustic chemical….. Just get a new one and be safe.

Just b/c it's written, doesn't make it so. Would you be comfortable eating a spoonful of the stuff?
