Salmon faverolles gender

    I am very confused about this one. The black body feathers make me think roo, but not sure about the wing feathers. Chick is about 4 weeks old.

    Although some hatchery quality Fav pullets are dark-colored like that, I'm still thinking cockerel. But update pictures in a couple weeks would be fabulous!

    I would guess roo too with the dark feathers. They are such beautiful birds when they reach maturity.

    Yea I think they are gorgeous birds, that's y I have been wanting them so bad. I got 6 hatching eggs and only 3 hatched. If this is a cockerel I hit the jackpot and got him and two girls. Here are the others. [​IMG] [​IMG]
