Salmon Faverolles poodles

Why are salmon faverolles called the french poodle of the poultry world?
I will be getting them in the spring and I have read they are friendy. But what I recall when I was a little girl the poodle my family had barked and snapped at anyone that didn't live in the house.

they are very friendly and docile I think they get their name for their fancy and fluffy apearance. The two I had were great.

I have 6 mini poodles and they all bark, but none of them snap! They are friendly and polite. They are more likely to bring you a gift if you are a stranger. It might just be a bone or a squeaky toy, but it's the thought that counts.
