My guess is that they are about 1 1/2 weeks old. I saw on a website you can sex this breed/color at about 2 weeks. I may be jumping the gun, I am just anxious to see how many hens I have in my mixed lot of 15.

I would say hens. Males would have a lot more black in the wings.

Fancy fowl you are right. Hens have lighter wing feahers while the roos have almost black. I have both bantam and standards. You will love them. Especially the bantams
