Salmon Favorelle Sexing

    Hi everyone! This is my first time with SF's and im being impacient lol.. thoughts on sex? Theyre 1 week old as of today!

    There are 3-4 that look like the one above, im thinking pullets?

    There are 2 that look like the one above and i assume theyre cockerels?

    But these ones are throwing me for a loop..

    In breeding Faverolles, the color of the plumage for hens and roosters is very different at two weeks of age. Hens have creamy white feathers, whereas, roosters display black, brown and straw colored feathers

    Blanche is 10 ish weeks old. Please tell me she is in fact a girl. She runs away from her own shadow, so not seeing roo behaviors. [​IMG]

    Don't know the breed but it's pretty! Going by age & comb/wattle & color, thinking Pullet

    I was also thinking salmon faverolle pullet! And very pretty.

    I have 3 Salmon Faverolles coming in August, along with a bunch of other stuff from a breeder. I was going to breed Lavender Orpingtons, but decided the lav feather issues were more than I am prepared for. Now thinking the Faverolles would be a good choice.

    Hoping to get a Salmon Faverolle, Lavender Orpington, Blue Ameraucana & BLRW pullets from a breeder in Sept....Hoping. Have had Orpingtons, BLRW & Ameraucanas before but not Faverolle.
