Salmon favorelle

Hello,
I posted a thread a couple weeks ago because my speckled Sussex was growing a comb at a young age. I have updated the pictures because the Sussex has not turned red yet, the comb is still a light pink. I have a salmon favorelle that is 2 weeks younger who’s comb is growing and was bright red/pink as soon as it started growing. Can anyone help me out with sexing these chickens?

Do you mind me asking why you say that? I’m new to the chicken world and I’m trying to educate myself lol

For the Sussex that comb is still small and light in color.
Salmon favorelle are different colors when male.
The males have black chests.

SF female! Look up what a SF male looks like - handsome but with a lot of black feathers!

agreed... two pullets. Both combs are small and without color. And yes, male and female salmon Favs are sexually dymophic. Males and females look quite different, with the female being light and 'salmon' colored and the male being very dark with flashy colors.

Both pullets. SF males looks drastically different than females and the SS has a small very pale comb.
