Hello, Chicken Lovers!

One of my two hens, Emma, started laying eggs a couple of weeks ago...small, adorable, perfect little eggs. Today, the other hen named Millie, laid her first egg and, Oh, My!! her egg was huge in comparison! There is no problem guessing which one is her egg when looking at the picture. Wow! I thought within the same breed, Wyandottes in this case, hens would lay the same kind, color, and size eggs. I got the two hens and one rooster just a few days after they were hatched out. The rooster, Roscoe, still had his egg tooth. Now, they are happy, laying eggs, getting along marvelously. Has anyone else had this experience with eggs being drastically different in size within the same breed?

Just a little side point and I don't know if this has anything to do with it: Emma is a bit of a loner. Millie and Roscoe are practically joined at the hip, always seen together.
