San Antonio Area??

I'm having trouble finding the chicks I want in my area.

I want 2 or 3 silkie chicks and I cannot find them anywhere.

I thought about ordering some, but there is a $25.00 min for Ideal. To tell the truth, I don't want to spend that much, and I don't need that many chicks.

I have called the closest TSC to me (an hour away) and they are getting chicks this week, but they don't know when or what kind.

Anyone have any advice? Anyone in my area?
I am pulling my hair out.

How far is Ideal hatchery from San Antonio? I thought it was located a bit north of there, but I'm not sure of the distance. You could always drive there and pick out your own.

have you checked Craigslist? Sometimes there are people selling on there.

I adore silkies, even better when rescuing them from places like TSC.

I lucked out and was able to get a couple at Atwoods (store like TSC).
