Sand

I am finishing up my coop right now and have decided on a sand floor. What type should I buy?

Construction grade sand. I did a ton of research on this topic before I switched to sand in the coop. The sand may not be labeled as "construction", but look for what the intended use is. You want the kind with different sized particles. I bought all purpose sand at Lowes. If you need a lot you might find some at a landscaping place or a quarry.
