sandy eggs

I consistently get one egg most days that feels that it has been rolled around in sand. I do not know which hen lays it, but it is always the same size and color.

Has anyone experienced this? My husband said that he thought the hen must dust before she lays her eggs, but the egg is not dirty, just has a sort of sprinkling of fine sand.

If it's part of the shell it's just a little excess calcium deposit. It's just her.

It is not integral to the shell, I can brush it off. I have seen pieces that appear on eggs, but they are part of the egg. I am not worried, she has been like this for a long time. None of the other hens have this issue so it probably is just what her system is going to be.
