what exactly does one get a chicken for the Holiday?

so far I've gotten Arlo some of his favorite Suet cakes, a wee mobile to hang over the handle of his basket (edible) & a litte blue knit cap. He has a little red stocking too. I've told him that Santa Cluck brings goodies to little plump roosters.

and my husband is still laughing over that name!! He cant keep a straight face if I mention Santa Cluck!!

(Its finding a good present for the tortoise thats hard.)

my chickens get something extra special!!! the 250 watt heat lamp on ALL winter long!! We pay the electricity around here, so that's our gift!!

really, i will kiss every chicken on christmas day and thank them!
