I thought sexing sex-link was 100% accurate. This chick has a comb that’s twice the size and redness and face/beak then the other sapphires. Do I just have an abnormally large hen or is it indeed a roo? Thoughts? He is around 6 weeks.

It's my understanding that they're sex linked- pullets have solid dark heads and cockerels have dots/mottled. And, the hens are laced/solid and the roos are barred- so it's a boy!

Great way to boost Sussex lay rate- mine were always a bit pokey!
