We're going to butcher 10-12 of our Cornish Xs this Saturday. I have to say, I will not be sorry to see them go. We weighed them today, to mark which ones weighed the most so they get butchered first. Live weights varied from 5.8 to 8.0, so I think they have grown pretty good this time. Had a lot of leg problems though, and butchered early 4 birds that could no longer walk. Also had 1 probable heart attack. Out of 24 that arrived alive in the mail, that is not as good as our past batches have been.
