Here I go! Got two Silkies and two Barred Rock's.
from New Mexico!
How cute are they!! This is the place to be for ALL your poultry questions. Enjoy the forums!
Greetings from Kansas, 3909Paolini, and ! Great to have you here! Super pics! Baby chicks are so exciting! Best of luck and enjoy!!
Aren't they! The first night was a little scary, but with the great directions I got from this site they stayed toasty all night long. I did have a little issue with one, but warm water and a Q-tip worked. Daylight savings time didn't bother the peeps at all this morning. Sitting at my desk at work I can't help worrying a little about them being all alone, but they are in the garage safe from anything that might harm them and with fresh water and feed I am sure they are fine.
Welcome to BYC!! Glad you joined us!!
Thanks so much Liz9910 and all. Watched a couple of videos on coop cleaning at lunch. Not near the time for that, but might as well prepare myself. Doesn't look any worse than clean out my cat box.
