Hi, we recently moved to savoy, IL. Is here anyone from there? I wanted to know the local law/ordinance regarding backyard chicken here. Also, how to approach to start on the base of your experience. If anyone can shed some light on it, that'll be really great!😃 thanks in advance.

Hi there! I am not in Savoy, but I’ve been there. You’re less than an hour driving time away from me. I’m unsure about the chicken rules there, and honestly when I did my own google search of the zoning laws of Savoy I couldn’t find an answer. 😂

I’m sure if you contacted the village of Savoy someone would be able to answer that for you, or at least point you towards someone who could. Here’s their website: https://www.savoy.illinois.gov/
