I saw several different chicken and small farm/hobby magazines the other day at the bookstore. Do you have any suggestions for some of the more useful/informative ones on the newstand? Are these monthly mags our quarterly? I only had a few moments to look at several, so any insight would be helpful. Thanks

I used to subscribe to Backyard Poultry. It's a good magazine, with lots of photos and ideas. Too many ads for my taste, but still good.

I stopped subscribing because I just didn't feel like I needed to read it any more, not because I didn't like it. [IMG]

I like the ads! I've found many of them helpful, and BYP is really good. I learned how to butcher a chicken form their tutorial. And they have a nice breeder's directory.
