The babies are growing fast! Within only one week, I had to move them out of the brooder, and into the "chicken tractor". These photos were taken one week ago, so I guess I'll update again tomorrow because they have easily doubled or tripled in size from these pictures. I love them! They are friendly, sweet, and so funny! I parked the tractor right off my back deck so I can watch them whenever I want. Before I put them in the pen, I vent sexed them. I knew I had a pair of Mini Appleyards, but did not know for sure which was the boy. I now know it is the little guy with the dark bill. As for the Saxonies... I checked twice, and it seems I have one boy, and 3 girls! That's good luck.

A pair trying to catch a ride while I get the pen set up.
