I have a creveceeur chick and a polish top hat that both seem to not be able to close their beaks completely. It just seems that the top part is curved and longer than the bottom. Is there anything that I can do to correct this. They are both 9 weeks old. I have never had a chicken with this issue and am not even sure it is scissor beak.

Thanks

Can you trim the beak so that it closes easier? I had a chick like this and I had to just keep an eye on it and trim it once in a while. I used nail clippers for dogs. Just be careful for the quick (just like when trimming nails) so you don't cause bleeding.
