I stopped by a local farmer pumpkin stand to help clean out his inventory. He had a pile of pie pumpkins with a sign $1 each.

I asked how much for the pie pumpkins?
and he asked how many do you want?
    How about all of them.
    How about $5?
    Sounds good to me.

I got about 25 pie pumkins for $5. [IMG]

The chickens will be having pumpkings for the winter.

Nice! I asked the produce guy at the grocery store how much for the left over pumpkins. He said 25 cents a pound! No thanks. I'll check with some of the farmers.

That is so awesome. Im going to have dh check out some pumpkin patches tomorrow. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Plus he gets them because he likes the seeds. So it will be a win win situation.
