    hey got another question again...

my baby chicks seem to be scratching at the wood chips down to the news paper i layed on the bottem then they are pecking at it any reasons why??

  2. Totally normal chicken behavior! They are doing what comes natural: scratching, pecking, and looking for food...even if you have food in a dish, they still do this! [IMG] I like to throw in some chopped up grapes and watch them grab and run and they make the cutest little clucking sound because they are so proud of their find! [IMG]
