One of my younger girls, she's 10 weeks now, occasionally screams, turns her head around and fluffs at the feathers on her back, and then runs off onto to do it all over again a couple of minutes later. No one else in the flock is behaving oddly so I doubt it's fleas but I have noticed that the girls all seem to have lost a little bit of weight lately.
Any ideas what's going on with her?

Are you sure "she" is not a rooster? That is about the age that some of them start to crow. And when they start to crow they can sound pretty darned strange...like screaming sometimes. Just a thought. I've had several girls over the years that turned out to be guys.

No, I've been around new roosters. This is not that. She is in pain from something or distressed by something.
