Hi all! I am getting desperate so I am going to post here on BYC!!
I sold my horse last summer. I didn't want to, but my husband had been laid off for several months (ended up being 9 months) and we HAD to cut back on whatever we could- and horses are expensive to feed and care for. I sold him to someone locally, and told her that I wanted him back if she were to sell him. I called last month to check up on him, and she had sold him to a horse trader in January. I contacted said horse trader, and he said he had NO idea where he was, and he was more than likely out of the state.
I have spent hours searching for him on every horse for sale website, and I am at a loss. He may not be listed for sale, and either way, I don't even know where to start looking for him. I contacted AQHA but no one has transfered ownership on him, and I am not even sure whoever has him has his papers. (though they should- he has an incredible pedigree and is a Kid Clu grandson)
I am offering a $200 reward to whoever can locate him for me. I do want him back, but at the very least, I want to know where he is and how he is a doing. I miss him so much and he truly is the sweetest, most loving horse. He has a bowed tendon in the rear and I am afraid of him getting injured if someone is not aware of it, and I certainly don't want him to end up in a feed lot.
Anyway, his registered name is An Informers Clu. His sire is This Clues For You, his dam is A Bright Informer. He was born on 3-1-03. He is SOLID BLACK with no markings what so ever. He has a very thick, long main and tail with some brownish "highlights". He is right at 15hh and is a smaller built horse, around 900 lbs. He is broke and I would rate his temperament a 1.
