I have not been a huge waterfowl owner but I am curious if there is a hatchery that sells day old sebastopol geese. Some have told me that you can only acquire these from breeders. Is this true?

Yes but expect them to be $40-50 each though, at the least [IMG]

It depends on quality too, if you want really nice fluffy sebbies get them from
a reputable breed, if you just want em, get em from a hatchery.

Holderreads sells out nearly a year in advance.

Expect to pay at least $40 - $50 each for new goslings - more for older pairs. Possibly more for colors.

They aren't the easiest geese to come by I promise you that.

It takes effort and lots of breath holding to get gosling to hatch! LOL

McMurray has had them on their website for years but I have never seen them available.

I wanted some of these..but I do not want to order hatchery birds. There must be some folks that raise them..can't figure out why they are so high unless they are endangered..I didn't look. I just want them because they have great temperaments.

So if anyone in Kentucky has them..please let me know.
