Hi I have a 5 month old indoor diapered Sebastopol goose. He has been really moody for the last week. He is eating and drinking fine, and seems to be healthy. He is normally very sweet and mild mannered, but now every time I try to talk he keeps squawking over me. He has always been great around my kids and still is, but now when they come into a room that he is in, he starts squawking really loud at them. Not being threatening to them or anything, but he just wont be He appears to have new feathers coming in. Could this be his second molting and if so would this cause him to act this way? Thank you [IMG]

He could be just maturing and becoming more male like which means for most, a little more agressiveness, wanting to mate, etc.
