How many roo tail's do you see here? They are 8 weeks old, RIR's and sex links.
That is such a great picture but who knows how many roo tails?
Well I can say say that there is not 1 RIR rooster tail in that picture
Not 1 RIR hen tail eather....
Quote:That's what I thought when I saw the pic.
OK So no RIR, all sex link then. Can you pick out the roos?
There are no roos, they're all hens.
Quote:Yep. That's the great thing about sex-links, it's easy to tell from their color that those are all hens.
Quote:lol cute! xD and idk lol
So, Heather or anyone that knows, could you explain this to me about the color? What would a sex-link roo look like compaired to these? Don't get me wrong, I am very happy that they are all hens. I have just never found anything that has told me how to figure this all out.
A red sex link roo would be mostly white with some red, usually around the shoulders. You can see some pretty good examples here: http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Sex-links/BRKSexLink.html .
