This is our first year with laying hens and they just start producing this week! BYC has been a huge amount of help through our learning process! We had previous chicken experience with broiler chickens, but we decided processing chicken wasn't what we wanted to do. However we had chicken housing and supplies, so we converted to egg layers. We have gone chicken crazy!

Thank you for all the WELCOME posts! We have a flock of 14 Golden Sexlink hens and sure get a good laugh watching them. I'm looking forwad to having OCD "Obsessed with Chickens Disorder".
