Hi everyone!
got photos of peafowl footprints? I need them!
I am working on a study of feral peafowl in Florida, and investigating reports of green peafowl and green x blue hybrids being found around the state. One way of locating peafowl is via tracking and I am wondering if there is any measurable difference between the footprints of green peafowl, blue peafowl and hybrids (Spalding). if you have clear photos of footprints made by your birds please include:
the bird's species (green, blue, hybrid)
the bird's sex (male, female, undetermined)
the bird's age (chick, juvenile, adult)
thank you!
