I have a beautiful Orpington just become POL. Her and her two brothers had very dirty bums so I wormed them and have been treating them for coccidiosis with amprollium for a week. The brothers have since gone to a new home and the hen has become unwell in the last 2 days. I’ve continued the amprollium and she ate some eggy porridge yesterday. Today she looks more lethargic, and not eating much, if not at all. Bum is still very dirty. Is there anything else I can do? Can I increase the amprollium dose? Vets are not an option unfortunately. Thanks for any advice.

Any other symptoms? What does her crop feel like? What do they eat?
Apart from the mess, her vent looks normal (not red). She is VERY smelly though. Her crop isnt obvious, like she hasn’t eaten. I think I can feel some water in there though. They normally free range every day and are fed a layer pellet,
Scraps and scratch occasionally. The egg porridge I made her is quick oats and raw egg

Oh, The poop on her feathers looked green with clear gluey mess. Yesterday I say her

Hmm, it must be internal, did her brothers perk right up after treatment?
