Seeking Information Washington State Breeders

The other half and I are talking about adding quail next year. So I am trying to locate breeders and information about raising quail in Washington State.

I am located in Central Washington, near Ellensburg. Any advice on breeds or breeders in Washington State would be greatly appreciated. I have seen some on Craigslist but I am not sure....

What kind of quail?

That is also up for debate. Probably Coturnix Quail. Maybe Bob White. I would really like Mountain Quail but have read they are difficult for beginners.

If you were interested in mountain quail, I was going to suggest Craigslist or ebay. I don't remember who, but I've seen a breeder in Washington or Oregon sells mountain quail eggs in the spring. And don't forget, if you intend to raise quail found in the wild of your state, reach out to your department of fish and wildlife if they can provide you a game breeders license.
