This is an almost 4 yr old RIR. She's top of the flock. Yesterday, she was a step slow. Didn't eat much and actually hung out in the coop half the way which she never does.

This morning I let them out and she was hesitant to come off the roof. She was swallowing heavily and "smacking" her beak like she had just taken a drink (she hadn't).

I physically carried her out and she started doing this:

At first I thought seizure? But then she actually gagged up a little liquid, and it sounded like maybe there was more liquid in her crop and she was trying to adjust the crop?

She hadn't eaten anything this morning but her crop seemed larger than it should for them morning. It was soft but not necessarily squishy. I've never dealt with impacted crop before so don't know what that feels like.

Then, to top it off, she pooped-completely white urates with a little blood:

    She's out walking around now.

    So-any advice here?

Strike that, she started doing the heaving again and projectiles out quite a lot of liquid? But for as much as she's getting out, she also seems to be "drinking" some back.

    So...crop issue, right?
