Selling a couple of roosters...

I currently have 5 roosters and was planning on selling 2 of them. The other 3 are like best friends and don't want to split them. They're about 7 months old and I'm afraid they'll go to a bad home or be used as meat. I was wondering what kind of questions should I ask in order to try and prevent that from happening? Any suggestions?

I don't know if you can really prevent that.....

Either keep ownership of them and pay to have them boarded somewhere or ask the new owners not to tell you what they plan to do with them.
